Biscione* Classics is the company of Simon Novis and this is his story:
"Ever since buying my S2 Spider Veloce in 2002, I've always had at least two or three Alfas on the road at any one time. From 145, 155, 164, 916GTV, Brera, 156 and finally through to 159s, I've always done the bulk of the maintenance myself.
It was through my 105 Spider that I got to know Ian Ellis and after an epiphany over ten years ago, I decided that my career in rotating machinery needed to change for one filled with Alfa Romeo 105s.
Under the expert tutoring of Ian, I soon learned that not all 105s were identical, and even now I'm still learning about the little nuances separating each model or engine size from the next.
When Ian decided to head towards retirement, I thought that it was an opportunity not to be missed and so, here I am, fresh from a nine month sabatical at Alex Jupe Motorsport, and as the doors close on Ian Ellis Classic Alfas, they reopen as Biscione Classics...
"
